What is your availability? *

Most searches are planned in advance and can be on weekends or weekdays, depending partially on member availability. Occasionally there are immediate need searches on short notice.

What is your fitness level? *

The searches we do involve a significant amount of hiking (averaging 10 miles per day), often in extreme weather and rugged terrain. It's important that searchers be honest about their physical abilities to avoid an emergency in the field.

Mental/Emotional *

In addition to being physically demanding, the work we do can also be mentally/emotionally challenging. We encounter human remains in all stages, from recent deaths to skeletal remains. Do you anticipate this being a significant issue for you? There are many other ways to contribute to the team if this is a concern for you.

Any additional skills that might be relevant to our work? *

There are many aspects to what we do and diverse skills can be used in many ways. For example, first aid skills, prior SAR experience, mapping skills etc.
